Hair wefts are basically lengths of hair that are attached to a kind of ‘helm’.  These are used widely by hair extensionists when applying hair to a clients head.  They simply remove one piece at a time and apply it using the required method. The strand-by-strand hair extension process is a more sophisticated process that gently bonds real human hair to your own hair, using very small sections–and lasts about 2-4 months.

Skin wefts are another type of application.  They are hand made with hand knotted hair on a very thin mono-mesh base which has a Poly-Ureathan coating. They are called skin wefts because they are invisible without seams and match your scalp.  These are proving extremely popular over recent times and are defiantely one of the methods to consider.
